Parents: What do you Think About Children’s Vaccines?
There is a lot of controversy surrounding vaccinating children. There seems to be a growing number of parents who choose not to get their kids vaccinated, partially due to the worry that they may be linked to autism and supposedly also due to other possible issues.
Do people actually still believe that there is a link between vaccinations (MMR or otherwise) and autism? According to everything I’ve read, there have been no studies to actually provide a real link between the two. The original study that was released 10 years ago that supposedly proved a link was so biased that it was discredited and a retraction was printed, but it seems like the damage was done.
Why do people still think there is a link when nothing seems to be proven?
I’ve seen this topic come up in the news a lot lately, and I know that personally I was always vaccinated, and will certainly vaccinate my kids!! This is a bit more serious topic than normal, but an important one and food for thought at the very least.
Let’s hear what you guys all think!!
