OnePoke.com Public Beta Up and Running!!

OnePoke.com: We’re Almost There Folks!
So the time has come again for my weekly update on OnePoke.com!! I’ve got some great news, we’re on the brink of opening it up for a public beta!! The only thing left to do before we open it up for public testing is to setup the email account access in the database, which should be done later today.
Other than that, we’ve got all of the loading effects etc done, all the parts of the site are done, including account setup pages - but we do still need to finish the remainder of the 4 social networking sites that we’re going to launch with.
Those will be finished and added during the beta testing stage though. We’re beta launching with only facebook support in terms of social networking sites. There are still a couple of glitches we need to iron out, but that’s the point of the beta right??
I hope to be able to open it up officially for public beta either today or tomorrow, so I’ll keep you guys posted as to that!

Oh so OnePoke is being launched soon, sounds exciting Taris.
You better believe it!! We jsut have to get the email accounts process finished which should be easy, as the function to connect to each email account is already done!!

Thanks! And there is still a lot more to come! My partner and I have been working on it for about 3 months now, and we still have to add a few of the key features.
Expected completion of beta is end of February, so about 4 months total into development to get it to first stage of public release.
We have a lot more great ideas to implement after that as well - so actual development will be on going.
Four months is not bad at all, for something that will revolutionize social networking. I read your post on linkersblog, that’s a great way to get new exposure. Do you have any other blogs that you will be writing on? I could give you a writing slot on mastersofseo if that interests you, considering what a timesaver this is, I think my readers would appreciate it.
It doesn’t sound that long, but it is a lot of hard work - pretty much working as many waking hours as humanly possible lol!!

I don’t have any other blogs that have currently requested a guest post yet, but I would be very happy to write a guest post for your blog. We would both be able to benefit from that, as I will always try to return the favour in some form or another.
Not sure if you read my post that I will be exchanging guest posts/reviews for default placement of your blog into the OnePoke rss reader.
Each article/guest post would get at least 2 weeks exposure as a default blog on OnePoke.com. This would apply to all users that sign up after the point that the blog is added, and we are also working on a method to add that to existing users accounts as well.
