Hope to do Business with You!!
I categorized that under “make money online” only because I don’t have a category called how to NOT make money online! Do you guys ever receive those emails that say “Hope to do business with you” in the title?
They’re always some sort of spam - I’ve never received something like this that WASN’T spam in all honesty!! I ask myself, who actually responds to these or goes to the links that they provide? Do you?? I know I don’t.
If anything, I think this type of email reduces the credibility of a company or website, especially if it is written in poor english. As soon as I see that the email is trash, I just hit delete.
This is a bit of a rambling, as I get at least 10 of these bloody emails a day. Sometimes I get excited thinking I’m going to be developing a new business connection, only to be disappointed yet again.
This post is dedicated to you, “Hope to do business with you” man. I, on the contrary, do NOT hope to do business with you!!
So I’m curious - do you guys receive these types of emails? If not, what kind of stuff manages to sneak through YOUR spam filter???

The spam I receive is usually trash comments on my blog, but I find that most of the spam comes from a small handful of IP addresses, which I just block in my .htaccess file, so the spam I get cut down A LOT.
Not to deliberately plug my site here, but I think that this article is relevant to this topic:

It never occurred to me before that as blog owners, we actually allow a lot of spam through without realizing it.
Interesting point and a good article!!! And no worries - its relevant - link away!
I think i am one of those people who sent you that. LOL!. Anyway, i received one message from an apple.com email. I was shocked! But i didn’t believe it nor erased it.
LOL YOU BETTER NOT BE :@ hehehe
I love them! Some of them are so good that they even make it to my What A Lot of Bullshit Blog! It’s a great way to make people wary of this crap.
Actually, I can’t say that I have ever received one of those, but I’m thinking I’ve received every other kind. And you’d think everyone would easily pick up on it, and yet my wife came in asking me about one the other day, wondering if I thought it was something she should look into. I showed her 10 spelling mistakes and said that should have been her first indication. But it proves that the internet “unsavvy” are still at risk.
I guess that’s what the spammers must rely on though eh?? Glad you were there to steer her clear from the danger!
You see Mitch, that is why she married you in the first place, so that you love honor and protect her. Gee, that sounded pretty good didn’t it?
Yes it did, Sire; I almost believed it. Course, I know she married me because I make her laugh.
Hell, if she likes to laugh you should show her some of the posts on my blog, except for the one that has the video that is, it may be a little too much for a lady to handle.
I tell her some of them, Sire, but I did leave the video alone.
I think it’s better left that way Mitch. Always said you had a good head on your shoulders.
I get all kinds of stupid mails, free download and all that and then you get a link, buy now at half price. LOL.
GOtta love them eh!? Lol!!
